These policies apply to ALL Behind-The-Wheel Instruction packages offered by New Beginning Drive Academy LLC. By using our services, you are accepting the terms and conditions of each policy.
DON’T LOSE YOUR SPOT!
New Beginning Drive Academy will only reserve / schedule requested appointment date(s) and time(s) once full payment for desired Package has been received or a Payment Arrangement has been approved.
Payments and Payment Arrangement:
4-Hour Package:
->All payments must be made in full for this package at the time of scheduling the lesson
6-Hour Package:
->1st payment must be received at the time of scheduling the lesson
->2nd and final payment must be received prior to the start time of the 3rd lesson (NO EXCEPTIONS).
10-Hour Package:
->1st payment must be received at the time of scheduling the lesson
->2nd and final payment must be received prior to the start time of the 3rd lesson (NO EXCEPTIONS).
EXCEPTION: Future Dated Lessons
If lessons are scheduled a month or more in advance then the first payment will be due at the time of scheduling and the second payment will be due prior to the first lesson.
Cancellations & Refunds:
Cancellations:
If a student needs to cancel one or more lessons and wishes to reschedule said lesson(s), a cancellation fee of $75 to $100 will be charged to the student for potential loss of business for dates and times reserved.
Refunds:
If a student cancels one or more lessons and has requested a refund for said cancelled lesson(s), it is at the owner’s discretion to refuse any and all refund requests due to loss of business for dates and times reserved for the student.
Forfeit Payments:
If payment for ANY package has been submitted prior to confirming available dates and times, if after 14 days the dates and times have still not been discussed and agreed upon, the payment will be forfeit. The student will need to schedule new appointment dates and times along with a new payment to reserve requested dates and times.
Punctuality:
Time is of the essence! Make sure you don’t miss your lesson!
If the student does not show up to or arrive at the vehicle within the designated start time of their lesson, the instructor will leave and the lesson will be cancelled.
Payment for said cancelled lesson will be forfeit and a separate payment along with a cancellation fee (per lesson) will need to be processed if the student wishes to reschedule / make-up the cancelled lesson(s).
Nevada Instruction Permit / Driver’s License Requirements:
All students MUST be in possession of a valid Nevada Instruction Permit or Driver’s License OR Interim Document at the time of the appointment or else the instructor can and will refuse instruction.
***If the lesson is cancelled by the instructor, any and all payments made thus far will be forfeit. NO EXCEPTIONS.***
Dress Code:
Dress for Success!
Please make sure you are dressed properly for your lesson(s), while we understand this is not a job interview nor an office space, we still expect our instructor(s) and students to be in appropriate attire for their lessons.
This means:
-No revealing clothing (Male, Female, or Trans)
-No offensive, racist, or (negative) political text on shirts or pants
-No CROCS! All students are expected to wear Close Toed Shoes, Tennis Shoes, Boots, or any other type of footwear that fully encapsulates the driver’s feet
Also:
-No food or drink except Water (in a sealable container) will be allowed in the vehicle at the time of the lesson
Adverse Weather Conditions:
New Beginning Drive Academy reserves the right to reschedule a student’s lesson prior to or the day of the appointment if the following adverse weather conditions are present:
Rain, Thunderstorm, Snow, Ice, Hail, Sleet, Flood, Flash Flood, Flash Flood Warnings, etc.
Refusal Of Service:
New Beginning Drive Academy reserves the right to cancel and/or discontinue a lesson if the instructor deems the student is unable to properly operate the vehicle or appears to be under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or prescribed medication that would effect and/or impair the student’s ability to safely operate the vehicle.
